sometimes, life is like a computer game... just when you think you've mastered something, you find out that a new challenge awaits you.

on one hand, it means you are probably equipped enough for the "level up". on the other hand, it can also mean you have to start from scratch all over again. all you can do is hope that you can apply what you have previously learned to some aspects of this new challenge...

i think i've gotten to the point where i truly realize that in life, nothing is cut-and-dried... that said, i still like listening to taylor swift, because it brings me back to the more innocent days when being noticed by your boy-of-the-moment was a big deal and i still believed in (idealistic) happy endings... =)
